About the position. We have a vacancy for a PhD Research Fellow at the Department of Chemistry, Marine Chemistry & Biogeochemistry Group, Faculty of Natural. Sciences with the research project The Nansen Legacy. The research group Biogeochemistry (1) studies long-term changes of biogeochemical cycles in Swiss forests ; (2) manipulates climatic conditions (temperature, CO2 concentrations, N deposition) in field and lab experiments; and (3) traces carbon and nitrogen fluxes using stable isotopes. PhD opportunities. This institute has an International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS): IMPRS for Global Biogeochemical Cycles.
